About the Massage Therapist:
Stacy
Simone is a Sebastopol massage therapist with ten years of experience
and over 1000 hours of training, and is a member of Associated
Bodywork & Massage Professionals. She
is licensed by the California Massage Therapy Council, and is a graduate of the Trinity College Massage Therapy Program (formerly
in San Francisco). Stacy has also studied Nuad Bo-Rarn Traditional
Thai Massage with Chongkol Setthakorn at the Institute of Thai
Massage in Chiang Mai, Thailand, and CranioSacral therapy with the Upledger Institute.
Taking an
integrative approach to bodywork, Stacy integrates different modalities
to create
a massage
tailored to each client’s individual needs. She works from her home studio in the northern Sebastopol area of California and also provides home visits for women and couples (and men by referral) throughout the Sonoma County region.
Stacy
also holds a BA in photography and video production from Richmond University
in London, England, and an MA in Philosophy, Cosmology and Consciousness from the California Institute of Integral Studies in San Francisco. In March 2011 she will begin studying Western Herbalism at the California School of Herbal Studies in Forestville.
Stacy hails originally from Rhode Island, and after a brief stint in Massachusetts, a somewhat longer one in London, and a 14-year stretch in San Francisco, has finally manifested her dream of living more intimately with the natural world, and has settled in the nurturing valley of Sonoma County.
