About the Massage Therapist:
Stacy
Simone is a oakland massage therapist with eleven years of experience
and over one thousand hours of training, and is a member of Associated
Bodywork & Massage Professionals. She
is licensed by the California Massage Therapy Council, and is a graduate of the Trinity College Massage Therapy Program (formerly
in San Francisco). Stacy has also studied Nuad Bo-Rarn Traditional
Thai Massage with Chongkol Setthakorn at the Institute of Thai
Massage in Chiang Mai, Thailand, and CranioSacral therapy with the Upledger Institute. In November 2011 she also graduated from the Roots of Herbalism program at the California School of Herbal Studies.
Taking an
integrative approach to bodywork, Stacy integrates different modalities
to create
a massage
tailored to each client’s individual needs, and also incorporates custom herbal infused oil blends. She works from her home studio in the Upper Dimond area of oakland and also provides home visits for women and couples (and men by referral) throughout the Alamda and San Francisco Country regions.
Stacy
also holds a BA in photography and video production from Richmond University
in London, England, and an MA in Philosophy, Cosmology and Consciousness/Integral Ecology from the California Institute of Integral Studies in San Francisco.
Stacy hails originally from Rhode Island, and after a brief stint in Massachusetts, a somewhat longer one in London, and a 14-year stretch in San Francisco, and another brief period in Sebastopol, she has returned to the San Francisco Bay Area and settle in the foothills of Oakland.
